Pickem Poker is the stud of video poker society. Unlike ordinary video poker, which is based on draw poker, Pickem Poker was inspired by stud poker. You have to pick between unseen cards to make the best poker hand with your starting cards.
Pickem Poker Rules
You are dealt cards only once in this game. Instead of a hand of five cards all facing up, you receive three groups of cards:
1. Two cards facing up - on the left of the screen 2. One card facing up - on the right of the screen 3. One card facing up, two facing down - also on the right
The two cards on the left are yours to keep—those are your starting cards. Now you must choose which of the two stacks of cards on the right to retain. You are hoping to pick the stack of cards that would give you the better poker hand possible.
Once you have chosen, the remaining unseen cards in the stack you chose will be revealed. The three cards in that stack now combine with your two starting cards to make your final poker hand.
Payoffs and Payback Percentage
In Pickem Poker, you get paid for a 9 pair or higher. That makes it a low-volatility game. You can expect to win frequently so there's no need for a very large bankroll or a lot of waiting between winning hands.
Pickem Poker is found in casinos that offer multi-game video poker machines. It is possible to attain a 99.95% payback percentage, but you will have to master strategy.

Here is the full-pay Pickem Poker pay table. The payoffs are high since it is harder to make hands when you cannot see the cards. A pair of 9's pays off 2 for 1. No "even money" or push is paid here.
